Düsseldorf, 22. März 2019 – Ubisoft® kündigte heute an, dass sie mit Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B) und Millennium Media zusammengearbeitet haben, um zur Feier des kommenden Films die legendären Hellboy-Charaktere Nimue, Gruagach, Ben Daimio und Hellboy im April in die Liste der Brawlhalla® Kämpfer aufzunehmen. Der höllisch gute Superheld Hellboy ist zurück und er brennt darauf, sich in den nächsten Kampf zu stürzen.
Brawlhalla wurde von Blue Mammoth entwickelt und ist ein Free-to-Play-Plattform-Kampfspiel mit mehr als 15 Millionen Spielern auf PC und PlayStation®4 Computer-Entertainment-System sowie der Xbox One-Gerätefamilie, einschließlich Xbox One X, und dem Nintendo Switch™-System.
In Hellboy, dem auf den bildgewaltigen Werken von Mike Mignola basierenden Kinofilm, wird der legendäre Halb-Dämon-Superheld nach England beordert, um gegen ein Trio wütender Riesen zu kämpfen. Dort entdeckt er die Blutkönigin Nimue, eine auferstandene alte Zauberin, die danach dürstet, einen früheren Verrat zu rächen. Plötzlich in einem Konflikt zwischen dem Übernatürlichen und dem Menschlichen gefangen, ist Hellboy nun bestrebt, Nimue zu stoppen, ohne das Ende der Welt auszulösen. Lionsgate bringt den Film bundesweit am 11. April 2019 in die Kinos.
