- Joker übernimmt die Hauptrolle – Der Spieler kann die spannende Geschichte aus der Sicht des Protagonisten von Persona 5 erleben, während er mit den Phantom-Dieben auf Mitglieder des S.E.E.S aus Persona 3 und dem Investigation-Team von Persona 4 trifft.
- Persona 3 Portable’s weibliche Heldin – In Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth spielt die weibliche Heldin aus P3P eine wichtige Rolle.
- Eine Hommage an die Klassiker – Während der Spieler die cineastischen Labyrinthe durchquert, kann er einige Anspielungen auf Klassiker der Filmbranche finden.
- Die Macht der Gruppe – Persona Q2 erweitert das Kampf-System von Persona Q und Persona 5und fügt das neue Unison-Feature hinzu. Durch das Abschließen von Nebenquests schließen sich andere Charaktere der Gruppe des Spielers an und schalten so neue Spezialangriffe frei.
- Originale Stimmen – In Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth kann der Spieler den japanischen Original-Stimmen lauschen. Unterstützt wird das Audio durch englische Untertitel. Zum ersten Mal werden viele Fans die Möglichkeit haben, die originalen japanischen Stimmen des Persona-3-Castes zu hören.
